FAT BRACKS is a salute from an only child to his father. Melvin "FAT" Brack Sr. of Passaic, New Jersey who had his own way of doing things. He passed this on, including many of his passions to his only son Lil Melvin or as others know him Tee or Tank. 

After his passing in 2010 lil Melvin decided to honor his dads memory and his love of cooking and FAT BRACKS was born. Melvin enrolled in a culinary arts program and worked in a food truck and several restaurants. Melvin has worked several years learning the ins and outs of the industry and mastering his craft. Never conforming to the norms, cooking has been an outlet and a way to relive those great moments shared with his dad.

In 2020 Melvin and his wife moved to Georgia to continue to develop FAT BRACKS 

and what once was a way to pay tribute became a brand to share with others.
